FuranFlex Heritage Chimney Lining - Gorhambury House, St Albans

OVERVIEW

The grade II listed house that was undergoing a major refurbishment. The client's request was to locate and reinstate all existing chimneys and fireplaces. Using sophisticated camera and radar equipment, Toast (Southern) found all of the chimneys needed relining or repair. As some chimneys did not have a standard route, relining them meant opening up various points along the flue route and relining a chimney in 3-4 sections, made easier by using FuranFlex RWV chimney lining. FuranFlex takes up the shape of the flue so that chimney flues of any shape and size can be efficiently and quickly lined.
