In 1850 the Siena to Empoli railway line became a central part of the wine making industry. After being destroyed in WW2 it was rebuilt to modern standards. 20KM of new embankment required construction to upgrade the railway to meet current requirements. This required 500mm starter layer requiring thousands of cubic sqm of stone. ABG Pozidrain was proposed as a starter layer.
