Dumbwaiter Service Lift - Copper Still, Edinburgh

OVERVIEW

Set within Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, this project required us to design and supply a 100kg fully compliant EN81:3 BKG Dumbwaiter Service Lift on behalf of Caltech Lifts.

Copper Still is located between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace and is moments away from the historic St Giles Cathedral and Parliament Square and where you can sit outside watching the buskers. This new establishment promises ‘drinks with a difference’ and focuses only on delivering the freshest high quality Scottish produce for their customers.

After undergoing an extensive refurbishment, Copper Still required a food lift to transport meals between the kitchen and bar on a regular basis and approached Caltech for a solution. Opting for the highly reliable and durable BKG Dumbwaiter Service Lift, we were able to supply from stock our 100kg Advantage model.

After visiting their customer to see how well they were doing since their last visit, the Copper Still were delighted to remark “yes, what a difference the lift makes.” (Copper Still, Instagram)
