Damp Proofing The Iconic Tower Bridge

OVERVIEW

Newton Specialist Contractors ASF Waterproofing were called in to investigate why the Bridge Master's Quarters at One Tower Bridge was suffering from damp and proceeded to install multiple Newton products to resolve the issue. ASF installed a new internal damp proof course by injecting Newton 804-DPC into the walls, then sealing with Newton 313-WP, before quickly and easily spraying Newton 103-S as a final barrier to water. Externally, the walls were thoroughly waterproofed with four coats of the flexible, resilient Newton 109-LM. For complete protection, the waterproofing began 1-metre below ground level.
