OVERVIEW
A case study was carried out to determine the viability of utilising our HD board as Concrete Shuttering. The main benefits being its eco-friendly of course however a major consideration for the current shuttering products is their disposal once the concrete is set. As it considered contaminated any wood product used in this application is generally put in the skip.
Any of our boards can be left in the ground to compost down as there are no added formaldehyde or bitumen-based adhesives, so it is safe to be let in the ground. It’s also very flexible over distance so can be used to create some amazing curves to any concrete base.
This case study went extremely well and the builder carrying out the work reported back saying it was very easy to install and an amazing product all round.
