Number 48 Doughty Street was an important place in Charles Dickens’s life where he lived from 1837 until 1839. TRC carried out the full restoration of the existing double hung sash windows, which included remedial repairs, overhaul, draught exclusion and the replacement of the dormer windows with a bespoke sash windows with slim 12mm double glazed sealed units.
