Bracken House

OVERVIEW

Completed in 1958, Bracken House was built as the headquarters and printworks of the Financial Times – the Hollington Staffordshire pink sandstone cladding cleverly matching the newspaper’s distinctive salmon pink pages. John Robertson Architects has since undertaken a sensitive renovation to create a space for the 21st century whilst reconciling the two architectural styles. The entrance matting has been carefully considered as part of the project, featuring a combination of profiles and inserts to create a zonal system that harmonises with the building’s aesthetics.
