The problem:
- This was a large roof and gutter dilapidation project
- The original contractor had been replaced due to slow progress against a tight deadline, for us, this meant the challenge was to recoat, during the worst weather months of the year
How did we approach the challenge:
Site inspection between our technical team and the new contractors to understand what was the best solution given the job size and weather constraints. Advised on the use of Advantage® Graphene for the Metal roofs and also Advantage® Gutter – with the weather fluctuations, these products will come in to their own, with cold temperature and damp tolerance on application abilities as well as a speedy cure.
Delivering the solution:
- A large number of applicators were needed so we spent time in advance providing training on site to prepare the surface
- Training was also provided for application of the Graphene system during constant fluctuations between freezing or wet weather – the speedy cure really helped with this
- A lot of on site training and weekly site visits to inspect and advise on progress and success
