The problem:
- Over the years, numerous areas on the roof had failed and lifted due to debonding and corrosion of sheet ends
- This included a lot of detailed gutter areas that were corroded
How did we approach the challenge:
Site visit between our technical team, contractor and building owner. Advised on treatment for specific split areas using a method to ensure zero moisture seeping under the joints/laps which would create further, unseen corrosion.
Delivering the solution:
- Various stage inspections supplied with application support for tougher areas
- Started with Advantage® Sealant for detailed areas
- Advantage® for Gutters was applied to the corroded gutter areas creating a thick membrane around joints and bolts
