Fixed utilitarian access system - fixed access ladder to Museum of Science & Industry - Manchester

OVERVIEW

The Ascent Aluminium fixed ladder system was specified to create a permanent safe access route to the roof for maintenance personnel. As the fixed access ladder was to be installed in a prominent location adjacent the buildings front entrance there was a requirement to ensure that access was restricted with the specification of an anti-climb ladder guard & bottom hoop cover. Hoops were provided throughout for fall protection and the ladder was manufactured in accordance with CE 1090 factory production control procedures.
