Bruynzeel Archive storage: Heritage Quay, The University of Huddersfield
OVERVIEW
Heritage Quay is the official archive of the University of Huddersfield. Previously they had nine separate storage locations in the building spread over four different floors. They had a big mould outbreak in one of the repositories before the move, and leaks too.
By consolidating everything in one space they were able to increase efficiency and access.
Improving the storage was a massive part of meeting current standards, and Bruynzeel went a long way to helping achieve Archive Service Accreditation.
