Mill Meadow nearly-zero carbon house, Burley, New Forest

OVERVIEW

Award-winning architect Nick Lacey specified Recticel Insulation's L-Ments pitched roof insulated panel system on his new dwelling in the New Forest. He commented: “The roof’s prefabricated element was key to its specification as I urgently needed to speed-up building works on this project. L-Ments is built for rapid installation as well as containing all the necessary thermal properties to ensure the house meets the near-zero carbon standard.” Resulting from the positive collaboration on the roof design, Mr. Lacey switched the specification for floor, framed wall and cavity wall insulation to Recticel products.
