Armoured fire alarm cable is a 105 ºC degree 300 volt rated product, and is available in 3 to5 conductors in gauge sizes 18 AWG to 12 AWG.

Intended uses are for life protection and security systems. Armoured fire alarm cable allows for the wiring of speakers, strobes, fire alarm pull stations, smoke and fire detectors without the need for pre-installing metal conduit .as per Section 32 of the Canadian Electrical Code Part 1.An optional foil shield and tinned copper drain wire are available to reduce magnetic interference.
