Ampelite Lexan Thermoclear is a high quality low maintenance glazing material that is built to last. Lexan polycarbonate resin delivers high impact strength, an excellent balance of low weight and high stiffness and naturally very clear transparency. Lexan Thermoclear allows for a multitude of applications including roofing, wall cladding, glazing and partitioning. The sheeting is suitable for use in vertical, sloped or curved scenarios. It blocks 99.9% of harmful UV radiation. Both sides of the sheeting feature UV protection giving superior resistance to outdoor weathering and greater design flexibility. It is also suitable for use in bushfire prone zones BALs 19 and below. It is flame resistant, self extinguishing, stops the spread of flame and develops minimal smoke.

The Lexan Thermoclick is a uniquely engineered thermoplastic product combining exceptional levels of mechanical, optical and thermal properties. Lexan Thermoclick sheet LTC404X4000, is an impact resistant, energy saving multi-wall sheet with a
profiled tongue and groove connection. This inter-connecting system eliminates the need for vertical profiles, thereby saving
costs and enhancing aesthetics. The sheeting is 40mm thick, having an effective cover of 500mm and maximum length of 11.8m. Both clear and opal colours are stocked locally and all accessories are produced in Australia. The sheeting has a one side UV protection requiring this side to always remain facing outward.

The 100 micron thick gel coat is integral with the sheet, (chemically cross bonded), and no delamination is possible. The gel coated sheet surface becomes an almost impenetrable
barrier that reduces surface erosion and loss of light transmission to negligible proportions.

Lexan Thermoclear sheets are available in 10mm and 16mm gauges. The 10mm sheeting is offered in 700mm and 1050mm wide up to 7.0m in length. The 16mm sheeting is offered in 1050mm wide up to 6.0m in length. Additionally 2100mm wide sheeting in both 10mm and 16mm is stocked. Please contact Ampelite for availability. The sheeting can be easily cut to any required width on site. Sheet length can be cut back easily on site or factory cut prior to delivery. All sheeting mentioned is stocked locally and is available in small or large quantities. To minimise waste and avert incorrect installation the sheeting is UV protected on both sides. This guide is to be used in conjunction with the H-bar and/or Flexibar installation instructions.

Moisture laden air from inside the home, and damp air entering the roof space, can condense and create dampness. Good ventilation prevents
damage to roof timbers, and formation of mildew etc. Ceiling insulation is less efficient when damp, and adds to heating costs. Superflow ventilators exhaust the very hot air that becomes trapped in the space between the ceiling and roof. Removing this super heated air prevents heat radiation into the home and makes living conditions more comfortable, and it may also improve bathroom and kitchen ventilation.

This 3660 gsm sheeting has heavy gauge woven web matting which provides continuous reinforcement in every direction. The overall strength is such, that wire
safety mesh is not required. This is a particularly important benefit in aggressive and corrosive environments that can quickly destroy metal. Where corrosion resistance is vital, complete buildings may be clad and roofed with WebglasGC which can be manufactured 100% coloured opaque, or translucent to transmit natural light. For extreme environments, where high levels of acids or alkalies may occur, Webglas GC+ which incorporates chemically resistant resins, will provide additional protection. Webglas GC is totally corrosion resistant, it cannot rust and is impervious to water, vapours and gases.
