A Tricell system was designed by SAS International to fit the "Y" shaped departure lounge at Santiago Airport.
SAS International has designed, manufactured and installed metal ceiling solutions for both interior and exterior areas of the new 74,000m² terminal of the Aeropuerto de Santiago, Spain.
SAS810 tricell has been installed to create a triangular aesthetic in the departure lounges. This open cell system provides a geometric form that can easily be repeated for a striking finish. The flexible approach in SAS International’s design process enabled this unique solution to fit within the ‘Y’ shaped designed departure lounge.
Installed in the main terminal and baggage hall, as well as exterior ceiling areas, is the linear profile system SAS710. The linear slat ceiling, designed so that each slat lines up neatly with the next, forms a perfect row resulting in clean and simple architectural lines. SAS710 was also chosen for the exterior of the building to provide continuity of design. Using specially designed slat retaining angles, the system has been adapted for strength and durability to prevent slats from being dislodged in high wind.

Following cleaning and application of our ECOCLEAN coatings the bathroom presented with a reading of 887 RLU on the Lumitester showing a dramatic improvement in health and safety of the bathroom. Further testing also concluded that the bathroom was much less slippery than prior to the application.ECOCLEAN has provided this bathroom with a fresher and cleaner environment which has also improved the health and safety of all visiting students.COMMENTECOCLEAN coatings have been independently laboratory tested on a wide range of common substances responsible for acrid smells and health issues. Acoustic SAS International metal ceiling systems were installed in the eight-storey Eqwater office building in Paris.
SAS International’s SAS330 was installed throughout the office areas in the building. SAS330 is a lay-in metal ceiling tile system that provides functionality and outstanding acoustic performance for a range of cost-effective design options. The practical nature of its structure allows ease of construction and maintenance.
The corridors of the building were fitted with SAS International’s SAS205. In some areas it is not possible to use a standard hanging bracket due to the number of services in the ceiling void, SAS205 is supported at the perimeters, up to a maximum width of 3000mm, making it a perfect solution for corridors.
Metal offers an inert and inherently hard-wearing surface, making metal ceiling systems both hygienic and a low-maintenance option over the course of their lifespan. Only a simple cleaning routine is required. The lifespan of SAS International’s metal ceilings is in excess of 25 years with only very basic maintenance.

It’s hard to imagine a timber better suited to a palette of concrete and pale pink terrazzo than GoodWood Victorian ash. This winning combination is found throughout the space, drawing on clean lines and simplistic furniture to complete the brief. “The main reason we used Victorian ash is because it is a light coloured Australian timber that met the BAL-19 bushfire attack level requirement for the site. Occupying a 2134m2 block of premium land, Leopold residential apartments is one of the newest commercial/residential developments in Melbourne’s residential and business district. The project involved the internal demolition of existing commercial fit out, the construction of an additional six levels and the fit-out of 174 residential apartments as well as four office tenancies. The works undertaken comprised of a new wall facade, the attachment of 97 new balconies to the existing structure, and installation of a structural steel transfer level with lightweight floor system (Powerscope).

This installation, together with the building’s innovative recycling technology, is saving approximately 100,000 litres of water per day, helping 1 Bligh meet its 6 Green Star rating - the highest Green Star rating for a commercial development across NSW.

The Hadspen Bull Run Reserve playground is an excellent example of a community playground that suits everyone! Located within the Meander Valley Council in Tasmania, the park is a central hangout for the community in Hadspen.
The vast range of equipment within the park is what makes this playground so special. There is something for all ages and interests, with a play unit, flying fox, multi-user rocker, wheelchair carousel, swings, single rocker, interactive panels, and a fitness station. While there is plenty for children, the fitness station also provides for the older demographic that may be minding the children on the playground, or doing their morning workout.
Having the playground accessible was an important feature in the brief provided to adventure+. To reflect this, our design team included rubber paths for access through the playground, with access to low-level interactive panels and a wheelchair carousel.
With our serious approach to play, we always aim to make our playground designs engaging and enjoyable. But, making the playground attractive is also essential. Selecting a modern colour scheme, as well as a play panel with an engraved bull image, makes the playground enticing, and ties the design to the name of the park.
