Application
Sylomer is used in its cellular or compact form for many applications such as:
- Application in civil engineering and machinery.
- Can be used as an elastic interlayer, like a spring.
- Use for transport application.
- Prevents vibration transfer in floating interiors including floors, bulkheads and ceilings.
- Isolation of machinery.
- Isolation of impact generated noise.
Description
A special PUR elastomer manufactured by Getzner, which features a cellular, compact form and is used as a compression-loaded elastic support element.
- High elasticity, elastic polyurethane material deforms under tension and compression loads, but always returns to its original form.
- Isolate and reduce vibrations which can have negative effects on materials, human and the environment.
- Very low amplitude dependence.
- High fatigue strength.
- Used as an elastic interlayer like a spring.
- Cellular structure provides deformation volume under static and dynamic loads resulting for elastic bearings with full-surface load transmission.
- Resistant to substances such as water, concrete, oils and fats, diluted acids and bases.
