Application
Suitable for properly prepared substrates and surfaces including brick, concrete, A.A.C blocks, panels and tilt up.
Baxta Engineered Coatings produce a range of products that are specifically developed to work in combination to match different substrates. Screeded Level Render should be used in accordance with the following specific Baxta installation requirements:
For walls with off-form concrete and tilt panel:
- 1st coat: Baxta Key Coat.
- 2nd coat: Baxta Screeded Level Render.
- 3rd coat: Baxta CovaCoat Primer.
- 4th coat: Baxta Maxicap Elastomeric.
- 5th coat: Baxta Maxicap Elastomeric.
For walls with brick and masonry block render:
- 1st coat: Baxta Screeded Level Render.
- 2nd coat: Baxta CovaCoat Primer.
- 3rd coat: Baxta Maxicap Elastometric.
- 4th coat: Baxta Maxicap Elastometric.
For soffits and walls derived from off-form concrete and tilt panel (sponge finish):
- 1st coat: Baxta Concrete Patch.
- 2nd coat: Baxta Key Coat.
- 3rd coat: Baxta Screeded Level Render.
- 4th coat: Baxta Maxicap Elastomeric.
- 5th coat: Baxta Maxicap Elastomeric.
Description
Screeded Level Render (SLR) is a pre-blended cement render manufactured to exacting specifications composed of high quality washed and graded sand, general purpose grey portland cement, off white portland cement and proprietary additives conforming to Australian Standard 3972. When properly cured, it exhibits minimal drying, shrinkage and is a reliable surface for overcoating with acrylic textures and paints.
