Application
Designed to be applied on wet or cured concrete, pre-cast concrete, concrete blocks and cement plasters, as well as bricks and masonry. Several applications include:
- Basements and below-grade structures subject to positive or negative water pressure.
- Concrete foundations, retaining walls and foundation slabs.
- Waterproof dams and water treatment plants.
- Tunnels and shafts.
Description
MAXSEAL® SUPER is a special waterproof coating made with a mixture of cement, carefully controlled aggregates, and special organic and inorganic additives. Its formula improves the osmotic effect of the application allowing penetration into the concrete through its capillary system. The product crystallises inside wet concrete, sealing, waterproofing, and protecting the concrete structure. Features and advantages include:
- Internal sealing and protection (can seal cracks up to 0.4 mm).
- Resistance to negative hydrostatic pressure from groundwater.
- Resistance to saltwater and atmospheric pollution.
- 100% waterproof, even in permanent immersion applications subjected to high pressures.
- Suitable for use in contact with drinking water.
- Longer lasting than paints and other coatings.
- Allows vapour diffusion.
