Surface mount, AS 1428.1:2009 compliant stair nosing with a range of insert options suitable for internal and external applications.
Application
- Retro-fit/surface mount design for existing stairs.
- Heavy-duty profile design suitable for high traffic areas.
- A range of insert options:
- P5 rated abrasive insert suitable for external/wet stairs (commercial buildings, apartment complexes, schools and universities). Available in black, light grey and yellow.
- P4 rated premium vinyl insert suitable for high traffic internal stairs (commercial buildings, apartment complexes, schools and universities). Available in black, dark grey and light grey.
- P3 rated textured vinyl insert suitable for internal dry stairs (low rise apartment blocks and residential houses). Available in black only.
- Can be installed over concrete, tile, timber, vinyl, luxury vinyl tile, carpet, metal checker-plate and virtually any other substrate or floor covering.
- Suitable fixings provided on each project to match the intended substrate.
- Not intended for extremely high traffic environments such as railway stations and stadiums.
- Not permissible for use in submerged marine environments.
Description
M Series is an extremely robust and versatile stair nosing. The heavy gauge aluminium profile is acceptable for use in high traffic stairs (both new and existing) and is with a maximum permissible 75 x 10 mm allowed under AS 1428.1:2009. Available with 3 standard external rated insert colours and 3 internal rated insert colours.
