Continuous load bearing slip joint.
Also known as AccS, a continuous load bearing pad used in concrete corbel joints. AccS joints are manufactured from load-rated neoprene strips, laminated with slip-resistance material and applied to a metal surface. AccS slip joint assemblies are bonded to the bearing slab before concrete is poured over. Polystyrene creates a void which allows movement to occur without binding. Features include:
