Description

Brownie ceiling batts, the formaldehyde-free range of glass mineral wool insulation are intended for both thermal and acoustic insulation application.

They are manufactured using recycled glass and with SensiTouch Technology, employ a bio-based binder which has no added formaldehyde, phenol or any other artificial chemicals. The formaldehyde-free batts range encompasses multiple densities, thicknesses and dimensions to suit typical timber or steel framed construction and to satisfy a broad spectrum of building requirements. Some of its significant features include:

  • Soft to touch and less itchy.
  • Firm friction fit.
  • Hypoallergenic.
  • Reduced sound transmission.
  • Does not encourage growth of mould, fungus, bacteria or rodents.
  • Corrosiveness.
  • Inherently non - combustible.
