Raised paving, particularly heavy-duty applications.

The self-levelling headpiece is used to accommodate differences in the deck surface below the pedestal.
Suspended system.
Fully adjustable; top key system for in-situ adjustments.
Compatible with the cross-rail system for additional support (pedestal/ rail specified as a separate product).

The Stainless Steel "Key" allows for adjustment in height of the pedestal without having to lift the paving slab leading to health & safety improvement.
The "grey nut" can be inserted to lock off the self-levelling head to create a fixed headpiece.
Melt flow rate (to ASTM D1238): 14–16 g/10 minutes.
Heat deflection test with load of 1820 kPa (to ASTM D648): >90°C.
Maximum weight tolerance at minus 40°C (to CATAS 179112 / 1): 27.830 N.

Paving-specific:

Self-levelling headpiece incorporates four positioning lugs (fins) laid out in a crucifix formation set towards the edges.
The headpiece also comprises four separate parts created to allow up to a 5% or 2.86° slope correction in all directions.
The mechanism at the bottom of the headpiece allows smooth movement and positioning of the paving slab.
The lugs (fins) separate paving slabs and tiles on the headpiece to allow sufficient drainage between slabs (4mm).
This creates a uniform paving line so the slabs are laid completely straight.
A rubber anti-shock pad slots is included on the headpiece which has a series of ridges to give better grip to the slab and help insulate against vibration and noise travelling through the pedestal to the deck beneath.
